The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) has announced an extension for the submission of FATCA and CRS reports for the 2023 reporting period. Financial institutions now have until July 31, 2024, to file their reports, extending the original deadline from June 30, 2024.
Starting from July 1, 2024, financial institutions can submit their FATCA and CRS reports up until the new deadline of July 31, 2024.
Importantly, financial institutions that have already submitted their reports before July 1, 2024, must resubmit them using the latest version of the sworn declaration Form F.8301, following the technical specifications outlined in the CRS and FATCA financial information regime manual.
