Senior Full Stack Developer

OPES Software is actively looking for candidates with a dynamic and positive attitude to join our team. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help us execute on our company’s business mission through the evolution of our current product offerings and the development and deployment of the company’s new product launches.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of complex software solutions, from concept to deployment.
  • Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration between the two.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending best practices, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:


Core Programming Skills:
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience with algorithm development and optimization.
Languages:
  • Expertise in JavaScript, both on the front-end (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js).
  • Proficiency in at least one server-side language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, or C#).
  • Familiarity with database languages such as SQL and NoSQL.
Methodologies:
  • Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Frameworks:
  • Hands-on experience with popular web frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Flask).
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, Material-UI).
Additional Skills:
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git) proficiency.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
